While before, it was optimal to place legendaries in high budget slots such as helmets, it will now be more beneficial to craft them in lower item level slots such as wrists or belt. There are no new Legendary item ranks in Season 4, however, which means that they will now be lower item level than other pieces of epic gear, resulting in a shifting of priorities. Note that Fated difficulty Sanctum of Domination gear will not include Shards of Domination sockets in Season 4. Due to the Creation Catalyst carrying forward, players will also be able to create maximum level tier gear in slots they weren't able to before.
